Boil it for 20 mins or so

Or put in in the oven but watch it closely so it does not start burning

DO NOT USE MICROWAVE IT WILL EXPLODE!!!!!

You're actually aloud to just throw it in the oven. It takes a long time, and it should be monitored. This kills everything living on it basically. Keep it in there for maybe an hour, give or take. Like I said though, watch it!

Oven is a prefectly fine idea or you can soak it in hot soapy, bleach water as well.
