i recently added an adult male heterosexual raptor leopard gecko (ruby eyed)to go along with my female. I've had him two days and have yet to see him eat. The breeder said he's on a strict superworm diet. is this, particular breed of leopard gecko nocturnal? and what can i do to make sure he eats? my female will eat anything that moves at any time of day. so she has no problem there. We actually have a total of 5 leopards, and a few other breeds of lizards and have never had this problem with a leopard before. what all can i do? i know albinos won't come out in the sun light. i was wondering do the ruby eyes mean he's sensitive to the light?

I think the word you are looking for is 'heterozygous'.... NOT 'heterosexual' ;)

All leopard geckos are nocturnal; regardless of morph.

2 days is a relatively short amount of time for reptiles. He is more than likely incredibly stressed out from the move and needs time to settle down.

He should be in his own enclosure (no other gecko... quarantine?!) with no/minimal handling for a week or so until he starts eating properly. After a few weeks to make sure he is healthy he can be introduced to your breeding females.

All leopard geckos are primarily nocturnal. Some more so than others. The morph has nothing to do with it. And some of my geckos are very picky little things. My bell albino female doesn't like hard shelled bugs. My blizzard female doesn't like the soft worms. Try different foods.
