Question:
Do boa morphs have different behaviors than the normals and if so what are the pros and cons of each?

I'm going to be starting a reptile collection in the future (hopefully!) with my favorite species of snakes and lizards. (ex: milks, kings, garters, boas, pythons, iguanas, monitor lizards/goannas, and tegus, and other lizards, etc.), but not only am I going to have them in the collection, but the main herp that is going to be in my collection the most will be the boa constrictors (as I am a boa guy!) and will be breeding them (ex. 2: etbs, atbs, rtbs (mostly!), sand boas, rosy boas, other boas, etc.) I don't own a boa right now only a ball python, but will be getting one as my second snake, but the thing is there are some beautiful morphs out there that i'll love to own and would like to know your experiences with them, pros and cons, etc. like are they temperamental or same behavior as the normals and here is the list:

1. Sunglow Boas (Albino)
2. Leopard Boas
3. Blood Boas
4. Jungle Boas
5. Motley Boas
6. Patternless Purple Boas
7. Snow Boas
8. Ghost Boas

No, the different morphs are just different paint jobs. The animal is still the same species regardless of it's morph. Like all snakes, each individual will have it's own personality, but no morph is known for any specific difference. However, different localities do have different characteristics.

You do ask allot of investigative questions, I think that's a good thing.

As for the boas, for the most part, no. But with the motleys, and the parentless purple (which are in effect super motleys, if I understand what you mean,) do have some health and possible neurological issues. Last I heard, every super motley produced had died within a few years, though I could definitely be wrong. Google "jeremy stone" & "super motley boa" or "motley boa" to look up some info, he used to be on the quest for the purple boa, (they are beautiful btw...)

As for the rest, I have no personal experience with leopards our bloods, but I have heard of no real health problems. And for the most part, temperament never changes due to a morph unless there are health &/or neurological problems associated with it.

No I think temperament and behaviour is different in each snake, you could have to of the same boas and one could be extremely aggressive and the other puppy dog tame so the morph doesn't really matter, just pick a snake that seems to be more docile/tame to you. there is some behavioural differences but nothing so serious that you would not like the morph for its temperament
