Lizards that could co-exist peacefully with leos? Or is just keeping leos with leos the best.

i know i'm probably going to get a bad reputation for this...

when we were givven a tank with 3 leopard geckos in, we found that the nondedicated previous owner had kept two green anole lizards in the same tank

they had all been together for most of their lives, so when we brought them home we bought a lot more hanging plants for the anole lizards who tend to stick to the top of the tank, and cleared some more space for the leopard geckos for flat rocks and hollow logs etc.

they get on pretty well, no one has eaten eachother yet.

we are getting a bigger tank with more floor space/less height for the leopard geckos so that the anoles can have more room for climbing stuff and possibly more anoles. but until then, they seem to get on pretty well.

Housing multiple species is a bad idea. Conditions (temps, humidity, etc) are different and will cause problems if not correct for one species.

Female leopard geckos generally get along but not always. Males fight and male and female will breed. Leopard geckos do best alone and prefer it. Housing two geckos also can cause bullying, fighting, illness spreading, etc.

Lizards can generally be housed together when juvenile. However, with adults it is never a good idea. You will end up with stressed and injured animals.
