My leopard gecko 's eyes are swelled at the bottom and are basically covered in scabs. Every so often, some nasty greyish ooze comes out. I think it may be a problem from the last time she was shedding, but I'm not so sure. Suggestions on treatment and whats wrong?

when lizards shed sometimes they don't shed there eye scale it happens in some lizards and even snakes if they have a piece of shed you have to remove it, it could also be parasites or even bites from crickets if that's what you feed it.

check to see if its a stuck shed, if so soak the lizard in water and try to remove it with a wet cloth or paper towel, if its parasites clean the tank and look up online what you can give the animal IT CAN ALSO BE THE SUBSTRATE YOU USE sand can get in there eyes and irritate them try paper towel bedding, if its a cricket bite try feeding it smaller crickets and only put one or two in at a time till its finished eating then add more never leave crickets in over night

Do you have a damp cover? If no longer you would be able to desire to set one up. you additionally can soak the gecko in heat water (as much because it is abdomen) for approximately quarter-hour and use q-assistance to roll the exterior off. For her head use a damp q-tip and gently do away with the exterior. you would be able to desire to do away with the exterior. whether it is in a position to harden it would desire to diminish the flow off and reason the gecko to unfastened it is ft.
