I have tried everything to raise the humidity in my tank and it's not keeping the humidity. I have terrarium moss in there to help as well. Any suggestions?

Depending on how humid you need the cage to be, a simple solution would be misting the cage a several times a day. Heat lamps definitely allow the moisture in the cage to evaporate more quickly. A good way to prevent the water from evaporating is to place a towel over a little more than half of the enclosure. This will keep the moisture that you mist inside of the cage instead of instantly evaporating outwards. You may also need to get a larger water bowl to raise the humidity. Keep in mind that ball pythons generally do not need any more than 50% to 60% humidity except when shedding. Hope I helped!

Tanks are generally bad for holding humidity, which is why almost any ball python breeder will recommend housing in tubs rather than tanks. Heat lamps are definitely not helping, and in fact, ball pythons prefer not to have them. Your best bet is to get an UTH (under tank heater), weather you use a heat pad, heat tape, or heat cable. This provides belly heat (which is what ball pythons are used to in the wild), and minimizes the humidity you lose.

If you are still having problems, you can build a "humid-box". You can use an empty and cleaned out ice cream tub or tupper ware container, and cut a small hole in the top for your snake to climb in. Put moss in it. The box itself will stay humid, so that at least your snake can retreat to this area if it needs to.

You may possibly have too much ventilation for the humidity to be able to build up. Try misting the moss down everyday with a spray bottle or keep a dish full of water at the bottom at all times. Or there is the option of buying a reptile fogger, but they don't always work.

Get a towel and make it damp with warn water if you have a light then put it directly under the light the humidity will go up pretty quick (2-3 hours) idk how high a ball pythons humidity should be but it worked for my snake nd she's fine , I've actually had problems keeping it under 60 % for mine, and also keep ur snake tank as high as possible

Frequently spray water in the tank. Try once a day, then increase frequency if needed.
