Here is my top 15 list ranked on venom toxicity: 1) Inland taipan, 2) Olive sea snake, 3) boom-slang, 4) black mamba, 5) Gaboon viper, 6) Death adder, 7) King brown, 8) Coastal taipan, 9) Green mamba, 10) King cobra, 11) Speculated cobra, 12) Mojave rattlesnake, 13) Fer-de-lance, 14) Coral snake, 15) Bushmaster. A bite from the beautiful eyelash viper is still a very serious thing. Many hot keepers keep the arboreal Wagler's pit viper with good success. Keeping hots is very, very risky. Even advanced keepers will make a careless mistake and get tagged. It is a good idea to have anti-venin on hand and all the correct handling equipment at your disposal. Check your local laws before you acquire such a snake and plan on investing in escape proof enclosures.
